Microsoft is investigating an outage that has hit people of its solutions all over the world which include Teams and Outlook.
The US tech firm stated it was investigating “issues impacting various Microsoft 365 services”, referring to a suite of goods that contains its Teams messaging and videoconference support, Outlook e mail and phrase and excel programmes.
Microsoft 365 goods have tens of millions of customers globally and on Wednesday morning thousands of them documented outages on Downdetector, a web site that registers difficulties with tech merchandise. They included consumers in the British isles, the US, Australia and Brazil highlighting challenges not only with 365 plans but also the gaming service Xbox Stay and Microsoft’s cloud computing organization Azure. In the British isles, outage experiences appeared to peak at about 8am GMT.
Microsoft tweeted that it experienced “isolated the problem to networking configuration difficulties, and we’re analyzing the finest mitigation system to tackle these with out leading to supplemental impact.” It additional at 9.26am GMT: “We’ve rolled back a community adjust that we consider is producing influence.”
