Police are urging mother or father to be certain they know the place their little ones are immediately after 5 youths ended up arrested by officers in the city centre yesterday.
Officers stated the arrests had been in relation to abusive behaviour toward safety workers and users of the public.
The young folks had been picked up as city centre and Excellent Lever Neighbourhood officers had been patrolling Market place Put and Bolton Interchange.
A law enforcement spokesman stated: “A range of youthful persons believed that it was acceptable to be abusive toward protection employees and users of the general public.
“5 people have been arrested in relation to these incidents and enquiries are ongoing. This conduct will not be tolerated and will be dealt with robustly.
“Dad and mom, remember to assure you know where by your youngsters are and what they are up to.”
Police have been carrying out patrols in the town centre to deal with anti-social conduct, significantly on public transport.
