A 14-yr-old female has suffered “serious” injuries following staying stabbed at a south Manchester school, and a boy of the exact age has been arrested.
The Chorlton and Didsbury division of Better Manchester Police (GMP) claimed officers were named to reviews of an incident at Parrs Wood High School on Tuesday afternoon, January 24.
A teenage girl was located with “serious however not everyday living-threatening injuries” thought to have been brought about by a “sharp object”, the force said.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and is becoming supported by expert officers.
A 14-calendar year-old boy was arrested at the school on Wilmslow Highway, East Didsbury, and taken for questioning.
GMP said it is performing with the local authority and the faculty to help children impacted by the incident.
