LONDON (AP) — Microsoft said it is looking at some improvement to difficulties with its on-line products and services together with the Teams messaging platform and Outlook e mail procedure right after customers close to the entire world claimed outages Wednesday.
In a status update, the tech company claimed “service degradation” for a number of its Microsoft 365 providers.
Thousands of people documented challenges with Groups, Outlook, the Azure cloud computing service and XBox Stay on-line gaming service early Wednesday on the Downdetector website, which tracks outage experiences. Lots of consumers also took to social media to complain that products and services have been down.
By later in the early morning, Downdetector confirmed the quantity of stories had dropped considerably.
“We’re continuing to keep track of the recovery across the provider and some clients are reporting mitigation,” the Microsoft 365 Status Twitter account said. “We’re also connecting the assistance to extra infrastructure to expedite the restoration approach.”
It tweeted before that it had “isolated the dilemma to a networking configuration issue” and that a community adjust suspected to be resulting in the dilemma was rolled again.
It comes after Microsoft claimed Tuesday that its quarterly profit fell 12%, reflecting financial uncertainty that the enterprise said led to its final decision this month to slice 10,000 employees.
